Ryan Phillips is an award winning actor, magician, magic consultant, and theatrical illusion designer with twenty years experience as a professional performer. He is the resident magician at the world famous Mayflower Hotel downtown Washington, D.C. for five continuous years in the comedy magic show The Magic Duel. Coupled with his theatre training, Ryan is the leading magic consultant and designer for DC’s top regional theaters; his work continues to receive praise from critics nationally from The Washington Post to Broadway World. Recently he served as the Magic Coordinator for The Tempest directed and adapted by Teller (of Penn & Teller fame). He also performs privately for special events. He is a perennial performer at DC’s Capital Pride Festival and a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
